Disney Drawings

These are drawings I've produced using mainly watercolours as a base then coloured pencils to add colour, tone and detail.

Marie (Aristocats)
Olaf (Frozen)

Alice (Alice In Wonderland)
I love the vibrancy of the hair for this drawing of Alice. Ever since a young child, Alice In Wonderland has been one of my all-time favourite Disney films. I didn't start off with a base of watercolour for this drawing because i hadn't felt comfortable with use watercolour as a base. I do however, think the coloured pencils did the drawing justice alone.
Elsa (Frozen)
The hair on this drawing i think is just beautiful, (not to blow my own trumpet or anything), but the braid and the hair on top of the head turned out a lot better than i anticipated as i hadn't ever drawn a braid before. The grey watercolour and coloured pencil added perfect shadows and depth to the hair and the added effect of sparkles, gives it a magical and snowy appeal. I do feel as though the lips and cheeks kind of make her look like she has food in her mouth
